Hey everyone, I'm planning to relocate to the Bulgarian Black Sea coast and I'm torn between Varna and Burgas. I keep reading mixed reviews about how utility bills, groceries, and especially real estate prices compare between the two cities. Could locals or expats who have lived in both places share their insights on which city offers a better financial balance? I lived in Varna for three years and recently moved down to Burgas. Honestly, Varna feels a bit more vibrant and has a larger expat community, but it has definitely gotten pricier. Rent for a modern 2-bedroom in Varna is easily 10-15% higher than equivalent spots in Burgas.
